The Sajek Valley is indeed home to the indigenous people. There are indigenous people like Chakma Marma Tripura Lusai etc whose simple life will fascinate us. In all these tribal societies, women are more involved in family socio-economic activities than men. Although they live in Bangladesh, the national language of Bangladesh is not very fluent for them. They speak the local language, but the education policy of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh government has spread the light of education here as well. Most of the people here follow Buddhism and Christianity.
